Our guest on 12th December was one of the most important contemporary children’s authors Jasminka Petrovic. The theme of her get-together with the Seventh graders was her book “This is the worst day of my life.” During the forty-minute visit Jasminka Petrovic was talking about her creation process, the creative act itself and how to get the inspiration. The discussion also included advantages and disadvantages of the Internet.

This week, music teachers from Master Blaster school shared with our students great knowledge, experience and passion for music. PYP Students participated in workshops where they had the opportunity to see, hear and try out guitars, keyboards, drums.

On Friday 2nd December 2016, coordinator of ÖSD examination center for the German language and German language teacher Ena Stojanovic visited primary school "Nada Popovic" in Krusevac, where students were informed of the importance and benefits of taking ÖSD exams and getting ÖSD certificates. The students were earnestly engaged and at the end of the event they participated in a quiz in order to demonstrate their proficiency in all German language skills.

Conference Curriculum Serbia 2016 was held on 29th November 2016, in Roda Cineplex sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia. It was intended for managers and owners of educational institutions in Serbia. There were discussions about the experiences and impact of information technology trends in education.

Our students visited the fifth Sports Fair in Belgrade. The slogan of this year’s fair was “ Sport is cool”. The students and Paralympics promoted sport and talked about the two annual events at our school, the Paralympic School day and “Children in Humanitarian Action”. On this occasion our V grade student Sonja Danilović presented our best table tennis player Borislava Perić Ranković with her own work of art.
