The youngest students of our school went to see the play “The cricket and the ant” at the theatre “Puž“. This is the first of the three stories for kids about diligence and laziness. ’’The Cricket and the ant’’ as performed here is different from the story we know. The writer of the play, Branko Milićević – Kockica is actually opposing La Fontaine’s fable as he represents the cricket’s playing as very serious endeavor. This omnibus of plays consists of three stories.

Third and fourth grade students went to Zasavica on Tuesday, 25/10. We went boat sailing which is a true pleasure, because nature left us breathless. We learned about the interesting plant and animal life at the reserve. The picturesque mosaic of forests, meadows, river banks and the river itself, abundance of plants and animals, traditional way of life on the river presented in folklore and everyday life left a big impression on us.

On Tuesday, 25/10 /2016, Grade 5 students went on an outing to Topola. They visited the St. George′s Church, the Mausoleum of the Karadjordjevic  dynasty,  and Risovaca cave in Aranđelovac. During the outing, apart from sightseeing led by excellent guides, the students also had time for fun during the walk through Topola and Aranđelovac.

Preschool groups  PS2, grade 1 and  grade 2B went on a field trip to Mali Iđoš.  The children visited the local Bakery museum and saw how bread is made, and saw how people lived in villages over a hundred years ago. After that they visited the Katai farm with all the aspects of farm live children from cities do not see very often.

Our students from V to VIII grade visited the 61st Book Fair on 25/10/2016. They bought books recommended by their teachers, but also chose what they found interesting. They visited two halls, stopped at the stands of their favourite publishers, took photos with people dressed in Renaissance costumes and found out that Iran was this year’s guest of honour.
