World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world on 16th October. To celebrate this day a lecture entitled “Healing Herbs and Spices” was delivered. The pupils had the opportunity to see what these different herbs and spices look like, smell and taste.  During lunch time in the school canteen the pupils tried different products made of whole grain.

The pupils of lower primary school visited a film festival for children called KIDS FEST. Our youngest pupils saw the thrilling second chapter of the epic HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, a trilogy which brings us back to the fantastical world of Hiccup and Toothless five years after the two have successfully united dragons and Vikings on the island of Berk.

On Wednesday, 15th October, the pupils of VIII grade participated in an orienteering event in the city centre. The pupils were divided into three groups and each group had a different course.  They visited cultural and historical localities. They were accompanied by the School Principal, Mrs. Gordana Petkovic Srzentic, and the Geography teachers, Milos Blagojevic and Katarina Barisic. The whole event was inspiring and educational.

For the first-year pupils of Cambridge Primary Programme,  the first graders within the National Curriculum and their parents a traditional sports competition called Mum, Dad, Let’s Play has been organized.

On Tuesday, 14th October, the school indoor sport venue was turned into a big playground where the pupils and their parents played two interesting games: Memory Heart and Together We Are Winners.
