On Monday, 22nd December, inspector Mrs. Gordana Vujisić delivered a lecture to our pupils on safety on the Internet. She pointed out the ways in which the Internet and various social networks can pose a threat to the safety of children on the Internet. Pupils heard about different cases of children endangering themselves on the Internet because of curiosity and inexperience.

On Monday, 8th December, pupils of I grade with their teacher Julijana Merdović visited the school library. The school librarian told the pupils about the first writing materials, the way of getting paper and the process of creating books.

On Friday, 19th December, pupils of VII and VIII grade went ice skating. It was a lovely sunny day and the pupils had a great time skating to the pleasant music in the background. For some pupils this was their first time in the skating rink, so their more experienced friends helped them learn to skate, and the skillful skating lovers had a great time performing on ice.

On Thursday 18th December at 2pm a futsal tournament for boys at Maximum Effect sports venue. The tournament started with an opening match where our youngest team took part. The teams of four primary schools took part in the tournament. The team of Primary School “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” won first place, while our pupils came third. We can be proud of our student, Slobodan Stanojlović, who scored three goals and was declared best goal scorer.

On Wednesday, 10th December, a lecture was organized for the pupils of VI grade entitled “A Healthy Diet”. The pupils already knew a lot about the topic however, they were also able to hear some interesting and useful new facts about the dangers of bad eating habits like anorexia, bulimia and obesity.
