On Thursday, 9th March, our school was the host to the mathematical competition “Misliša”, for students from grade 2 to grade 8. Congratulations to all the students who took part. We are very much looking forward to hearing the results. All participants received certificates and gifts for attending, while the best ones will receive diplomas.

On Saturday, 11th March, primary School “Braća Jerković” hosted the Design competition. Our student, Teodor Šešum, won frist prize in rocket modeling. He was first out of 12 students from 5 schools who entered the competition. Vuk Cvijović came fourth in bridge modelling.

For the very first time our school took part in the Literary Olympics. On 4th March our school was represented by Anastasija Ocokoljić 7/1 and Julijana Petrović 7/2. Anastasija scored 65% and Julijana went through to the next level of the competition. Congratulations girls!

As a part of the research topic "Where we are in place and time" students of Grades 3B visited the Ethnographic Museum on Wednesday, 8th March. During their visit of the permanent exhibition of the museum they discovered how our ancestors used to live, what their houses were like, what kind of furniture they had, which tools and dishes they used and what kind of clothes they wore.

As a part of the research topic "How we organize ourselves" students of Grade 3B visited “The Organisation Gorani of Serbia” in order to find out what it is they exactly do and what kind of problems they solve. After their visit our students organized an event as a way of showing support to “The Organisation Gorani of Serbia” and explained why it is important for everyone to plant three trees. Three fully grown trees produce enough oxygen for one person to breathe for 60 years.
