In their research paper entitled “How the world functions" 4th Grade students explored weather and severe weather. They were very interested in the work of meteorologists. They visited the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia and got an answer to their question “How to make a weather forecast?”. They witnessed the release of the weather balloon with a transmitter but they also saw other tools weather forecasters use in order to predict the weather accurately.

As a part of the PYP topic “How we express ourselves”, on Friday, 24th March, students of Grade 5A and 5B had a presentation entitled “Digital Art”. Our school designer, Predrag Matović, prepared an interesting lecture and presented this form of art to the students.

After the Literary Olympics our students took pat in the Serbian language competition on 18th March. As always, we were extremely successful. Congratulations to Dunja Milenić 6/2 and Dunja Bulatović 7/2. Fifth grade students Iva Knežević and Teodora Matić, sixth grade student Mia Trifunovoić, seventh grade student Tea Polimac and our eighth grader Ana Babić have entered the City competition. Well done girls! We’ll be there to cheer you on in three weeks time.

Our students participated in the Municiplaity Biology competition. This year, as every previous one, they were fantastic and achieved excellent results. All our students came back with diplomas. Iva Knežević 6a won second place, Helena Savić 6a won third place, Teodora Magazin C8 won third place, Jovan Milošević 7.1 won third place, Ana Babić 8.1 second place and Jovana Gavrilović 8.1 third place.Ana Babić and Jovana Gavrilović went through to the City competition.

On Sunday, 12th March, the Municipality Geography competition was held at “Đorđe Krstić” primary school. Our students Katarina Vlajić 7/1, Stefan Subotić 7/1 and Petar Popović 8/1 achieved excellent results and went through to the next level of the competition – the City competition. We are extremely proud of their success!
