On Cambridge Checkpoint tests at the end of school year 2016/2017 the ninth grade students achieved very good results.

80% of the students achieved the results which are graded as expected (3.0 and above). Special praise goes to students Đorđe Veličković, Viktorija Ristić, Marija Vukadinović, Bogdan Vuković and Alena Nemec.

Yesterday, at our school a traditional event called Ruđer Fest was held. In our school yard experiments were conducted in the field of biology, physics and chemistry. An art exhibition was displayed and the students competed in various games. What was new at this year’s Ruđer Fest was an exhibition within the PYP and MYP programme.

As a part of a project of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia, department for the prevention of High Technology Crime, a workshop was held at our school entitled ’’Misuse of the Internet’’ . Our visiting lecturer for this occasion was chief police inspector, Mr Radoje Vuković. Children and teenagers are inevitably in contact with computers and communication technologies on a daily basis.

As every year, Red Cross Čukarica organized first aid training in schools on the territory of this municipality. Educated, young volunteers of the Red Cross organization held the training for students of grades 6 and 7. The aim of the training is to educate as many students as possible. The students who are especially good are chosen for the competition organized by the Red Cross.
