On Wednesday October 25th, Grade 3 students watched the play "Blind Fear" in Boško Buha Theatre. By linking Serbian tradition and folk tales with stories, fairy tales and myths of other nations, and by using theater as a medium, the students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on how stories can be told and experienced in different ways.

On October 24th and 25th, our students went to the Book Fair. This was a new experience for the youngsters, but the students of Grades 6, 7 and 8 were in a well-known field. They enjoyed visiting different stalls spending most time at the stands of publishing houses "Vulkan", "Laguna", "Creative Centre" and "Delfi". They bought books that were recommended by the Serbian Language teachers, but personal choices of books purchased were also important.

Students of Grades 1 and 2 participated in the activity "Be Safe, Be Free" in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior - The Police Station Čukarica.

This activity included two stages - going to the police station and training the students in the school premises.

On October, 10th, students of Grades 6 and 7 attended the preview of the play "Little Corporal" at the Small Theatre "Duško Radović". The play "Little Corporal" reveals the heroic destiny of the historical character, a boy Momčilo Gavrić, who, in difficult circumstances, in Serbia in 1914, was obliged to leave his burned village in the vicinity of Loznica and run away together with the Serbian army.

The youngest students of our school visited the NAVAK Centre - The National Drivers' Academy and a unique centre for safe driving in the region. Through practical examples and stories, the students learned about the dangers in traffic. We helped them to recognize the importance of using the seat belt and a child safety seat as well as what the dangers are when crossing the street away from a pedestrian crossing.
