On October, 10th, students of Grades 6 and 7 attended the preview of the play "Little Corporal" at the Small Theatre "Duško Radović". The play "Little Corporal" reveals the heroic destiny of the historical character, a boy Momčilo Gavrić, who, in difficult circumstances, in Serbia in 1914, was obliged to leave his burned village in the vicinity of Loznica and run away together with the Serbian army. This shocking and unique story in Serbian history about a boy who lost both his family and childhood in the war, implies a story about the golgotha ​​and the resurrection of our small nation in a great struggle for survival. Momčilo Gavrić is one of the icons of the First World War and the symbol of our suffering. The boy's romantic figure had enormous influence on the army and the people. Our students watched this touching story with special attention.
