This January 27th, like every year, school’s patron saint - Saint Sava (“skolska slava” ) was celebrated in our school. The ceremony was opened by our school choir singing the hymn to St. Sava, and afterwards we enjoyed the performance of drama plays dedicated to St. Sava.

Traditionally, after the event, our school principals handed over the prizes to students who excelled not only in school performance but also in in some other activities.

During the school year 2014/15., our school participated in TIMSS 2015 study as a part of a nationally representative primary schools sample. The testing included students who are now attending grades 7a and 7b. According to the results our school was classified as one of the three most successful schools in Serbia.

Today, Santa Claus and a singing dwarf visited our school.

They brought the children sacks of sweets, music and positive atmosphere. We all had a good time and celebrated the start of the upcoming holidays.

On Tuesday, 27th December, a New Year's show “Snežnovizija" was held in our school. With plenty of music, dancing and laughter we were eagerly waiting for the New Year to come. The atmosphere was joyful and funny, everyone from the performers, hilarious judges to Santa Claus. The audience expressed merely joy and laughter. It was a charity performance and the tickets were the sweets that were used to make gifts for children from the Shelter.

Our students spent one afternoon in the "Roda" cinema on Banovo brdo.

Lower grade students saw a new animated film from Walt Disney studios, an incredible animated adventure about a lively teenage girl that sails on a daring mission to save her people.
