Our guest on 12^th December was one of the most important contemporary children’s authors Jasminka Petrovic. The theme of her get-together with the Seventh graders was her book “This is the worst day of my life.” During the forty-minute visit Jasminka Petrovic was talking about her creation process, the creative act itself and how to get the inspiration. The discussion also included advantages and disadvantages of the Internet. Jasminka read one chapter of her book, and students expressed their opinion about the characters and their actions. The topic of puberty was the favorite part of the discussion. Jasminka promised to come again next year and to have another get-together on the topic of her latest novel “The summer I learned to fly."
