The topic “How to become and stay IT literate” attracted students from I to IV year. We learnt the difference between a hyphen and a dash, how to use our IT theoretical knowledge to type correctly, how every punctuation mark requires a space after it, etc. This is very important to senior students who need to write a graduation paper. After the theoretical knowledge we tried editing a text.

As a part of CAS activities within IB Diploma Programme, a third-year student, Aglaja Filipović, presented her work, photographs of landscapes, to the students of our school in an independent exhibition entitled “Nature through My Lens”. This exhibition expressed her artistic affinities. We certainly hope that some time in the future we will have the opportunity to see something new from Aglaja.

On 24th December our school organized a futsal tournament for high school students. The teams from four high schools took part. The XV Belgrade High School team won the first prize after they beat the Geological High School team in the final. Our team came fourth. Congratulations to the winners and we wish the other participants good luck in the forthcoming sports competitions and events.

On 23rd December 2014 two first-year students, Maša Milenković and Ana Janković, organized an open class entitled „Superstition in Serbia“. We enjoyed exchanging experience and thoughts on the topic and we heard some new things while attempting to answer the question – Why do we believe in irrational things and occurrences?
