Our school, “Ruđer Bošković“ is a partner in the “Healthy Kids” project which is a part of the global Nestlé initiative entitled ,,Nestlé Healthy Kids Global Programme”, with the objective of raising nutrition and health knowledge and promotion of physical activity among school-age children around the world.

On 27th November our visiting lecturer, Mr. Zoran Jarić, delivered a lecture to the III and IV year students on safety in traffic. Bearing in mind that they have just acquired driving licenses and they lack experience, the aim of this lecture was to make them aware of the potential dangers and how important it is to respect driving regulations. He warned the students about the most common causes of road accidents: speeding, careless driving and disregard of road regulations. Mr.

On Wednesday, 24th November 2014 professor Dr Mahmud Salui, director of the Iranian Cultural Centre in Belgrade, visited our school. Dr Salui delivered a lecture about the influence of the philosophies of Plato and Aristotle on the philosophy of medieval Iran. Dr Salui made a clear connection between the philosophies of the two biggest ancient philosophers and the philosophies of al-Farabi and Avicenna.

‘’TV reportage is an art, you search for words and pictures’’ – said Dejan Radulovic, the author of a number of documentaries, to the III year IB students on Thursday, 27th November during his lecture. The students had the opportunity to see clips from his documentary ‘’Pictures of Life’’ followed by Dejan’s comments about how and where best TV reportages are made.

On 25th November 2014 during the lesson dedicated to the famous German writer and philosopher Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and his play ‘’Faust’’, the IV year students showed they were inspired, curious and involved. The students heard some interesting facts about Geothe’s life: he was a great admirer of the the work of Vuk Karadzic.
