On 6th November the students of  “Ruđer Bošković” High School had the opportunity to learn about the life and work of Laza Kostic.

Everyone liked the poem Santa Maria della Salute read by a famous actor, Lazar Ristovski.

We would definitely like more similar events. From Damjan, the author of this class, we expect a lot…

On 5th November, during a PE lesson the I grade high school students visited “Aleksa Dundić” Horse Club. All the students tried horse riding.

As a follow up of the event Share to Care – Donate a Book from 30th October 2014 we visited the pupils of Radomir Lukić Primary School from Miloševac and the pupils from the village Trnovče. We cannot find words to express the kindness, hospitality and warmth of our hosts. We thank our new friends for their warm welcome which we will always remember. The pupils and the teacher from these schools have reminded us of what being modest, proud and happy means.

On 30th October 2014 III grade students took part in an experimental lesson dedicated to the famous writer, Ernest Hemingway. The cooperation of our two teachers, the Serbian language teacher and the English language teacher was very successful. It began by Zeljana’s account of Hemingway’s life. We were surprised by many facts. He survived a plane crash, he was an adventurer, hunter and fisherman. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature and the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.

On Thursday, October 30th in High School premises an award ceremony of the IGCSE & ICE certificates was held for all the students who took and passed IGCSE examinations in May/June session 2014.

For outstanding results achieved in the final exams (they took and passed examinations in 8 subjects, all with A* and A grades) students Dejan Kovač and Aleksandar Radulović received Cambridge ICE Certificates with Distinction.
