On 26^th December another literary evening with third year student, Damjan Spasojević was organized during which we travelled through Serbian and World Literature.  During this afternoon we heard some interesting facts about the life of Jovan Dučić, our prominent and respected writer and poet: he was friends with Šantić and Ćorović, he had been in a relationship with a number of very influential ladies of the time, he was a distinguished diplomat and ambassador who represented our country in Italy, Spain, Greece and Switzerland. Did you know that the Serbian Embassy in Budapest is a gift of a certain lady who was dazzled by Jovan Dučić? We found out why he was banned from working in schools, why his prose work “Tsar Radovan’s Treasure” was criticized and many other interesting stories that we hadn’t heard before.
