On 20th February a group of students visited the fair of Tourism. When we arrived we were guests at the Viva Travel Agency stand. The agent’s representative delivered a short lecture on the most attractive destination for young people. During the other part of our visit the students were divided into groups and each group had to find the area previously set by the Geography teacher.
OpširnijeWe marked Mother Language Day in a way useful for the preservation of our language. The Serbian language teacher told us about why 21st February was chosen to be Mother Language Day. The other part of the class was dedicated to the “Serbian Dictionary” by Vuk Stefanović Karadžić. We heard about the way our ancestors lived, what they believed in and how they were educated. We tried to create our oral presentation in the spirit of language preservation.
OpširnijeOn Thursday, 19th February 2015, Mrs. Ljiljana Simić, representative of Vuk’s Endowment, and writers Gordana Maletić and Božidar Pešev were our guests. We marked two anniversaries – the first one 200 years of publishing “Pismenica serbskoga jezika” and the second 150 years from the death of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić. We started off by a lecture on Vuk and his daughter Mina Karadžić delivered by Damjan Spasojević, a third year student. Then we enjoyed the poems and stories of our guests.
OpširnijeOn Tuesday, 10th February, our Student Parliament of Primary and High School Ruđer Bošković organized a big humanitarian bake sale. We would like to thank our pupils, teachers, parents and other school employees for taking part in our action and for helping us in fund raising for children affected by epidermolysis bullosa. You have shown us that you have a big heart and that you are always ready to help someone in need. Until we meet again…
