Our High School students won III place in the futsal municipality competition. They played very well and although they won third place we believe they deserved a better position, however we all know that luck is a very important factor in sport. We expect even better results in future competitions, and we wish our students all the best!

As a part of the promotion of the event “The Night of Explorers”, representatives of the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade gave two presentations at our school. All our students were informed about this international event, they watched a film about the history of numbers and joined in a discussion.

Our friend Marko Pecarski is the best basketball player in Europe in his age category. We are very proud that this talented, well-mannered athlete is our student. We are looking forward to his future success.

The International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer Dan was marked with a presentation of the III and IV year students, Danica Gaković and Damjan Spasojević. The students of the I and II year were the audience. The presentation showed the importance of the ozone layer, the destruction ofand possible consequences of further damage. The presentation was followed by an animated video and discussion.

Traditionally the sports day in September is organized on Ada Ciganlija. On 4th September we went to Ada Ciganlija to take part in a number of activities. Nurturing of body and mind in accordance with nature has become an imperative for us. Some students went cycling, some water skiing and others just went for a walk or played volleyball and basketball. It was a war and sunny day so we believe the weather made it possible for all of us to have a great time.
