A new generation of  “Ruđer Bošković“ High School has started their education today. Our Director of Studies, Nada Vukovic, and the teachers welcomed the students.

We would like to congratulate Ilija Nešić, a senior student of the IB DP, for being awarded a full scholarship at Bocconi University in Milan! The whole school wishes him all the best in the next phase of his education.

We visited the Belgrade Drama Theatre on 12th March 2015 and we had the opportunity to see the play “When Pumpkins Blossomed” directed by Boban Skerlić. The play is based on the novel of the same name written by Dragoslav Mihailović. We had just finished reading the book so we were able to compare the two. Some of us were disappointed, while others weren’t. The match was evident.

The High school students visited the 43rd Fest on Thursday, 5th March. They watched a French film called “Gemma Bovery” directed by Anne Fontaine. The main roles were played by Jason Flemyng, Gemma Aterton and Fabrice Luchini. The film was gripping from the beginning to the end and left no one indifferent. We liked the way the main character’s destiny was connected to Flaubert’s Emma Bovary. We are looking forward to the next Fest.
