Early morning at the airport. We were tired and sleepy but excited about our forthcoming trip The first cup of cappuccino we drank boosted our energy and the adventure could begin. We do not believe in coincidences. Rome became Amor and many opportunities unfolded before us. Our visit to Pompeii was marvelous thanks to our excellent Italian guide who skillfully involved us in the story about a town that was buried under ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius 79 AD.
