EXCURSION - ATHENS

EXCURSION - ATHENS

Third year students went to Greece from 28th September to 3rd October 2015. During the six days we spent here we visited Athens, one of the most significant cities in the world and famous archeological sites nearby. The Acropolis, Mycenae, Epidaurus and the Temple of Poseidon on cape Sounion were breath-taking. We learnt many interesting things about the Peloponnese peninsula, Corinth Canal, then the port of Piraeus, a maritime and trade center, the town of Nafplion, the first capital of independent Greece, Schliemann’s numismatic museum as well as many other landmarks. We had some memorable moments in Glyfada and the weather was excellent so we went swimming in the Aegean Sea every day. We were accompanied by our teachers Vesna, Nena, Bojana & Petar, doctor Sonja and our guide Vesna. To show for our great stay we have numerous photos which we shared on social networks.
