On Wednesday, Grade 6 students went on a trip which took them to the Underground Belgrade and Vinča. We started our trip at Kalemegdan where our guide gave us a short lecture about the history of the Kalemegdan park and the fortress, and then we visited the Roman Well, Barutana and the shelter from World War II. We had a lunch break in the old winery and continued with our trip to Vinča where we visited the museum and learnt much about the Vinča culture.

On Wednesday. 16 th May, 2018 Grade 7 students visited Carska Bara. They visited the house of Mihajlo Pupin and took a tour of his hometown, Idvor. We saw a film about his life and heard about his successes.
Afterwards, we went to the nature reserve – Carska bara. The boat ride was very interesting, and some students got a chance to be captains.

Undoubtedly, the last trip of the special generation was to be the trip to remember. The weather was a serious threat, but we resisted and won. The clouds withdrew and we were ready to have fun and enjoy.

Although a rainy and cold morning did not promise good times, Grade 8 students started their exploration journey through central Šumadija, following the steps of courageous Serbian soldiers.

On Saturday. 12 May, our school was a host to the City competition of research works in the fields of science, social studies, Serbian and English literature. The organizer was the Regional centre for talents Belgrade 2 under the auspices of the Ministry of education, science and technological development. Many students of numerous Belgrade primary and secondary schools took part in this event.
