Undoubtedly, the last trip of the special generation was to be the trip to remember. The weather was a serious threat, but we resisted and won. The clouds withdrew and we were ready to have fun and enjoy.
We visited Sremski Karlovci, one of the Serbian cultural centres almost three hundred years ago. We heard the stories about Patriarchate Court, Gymnasium of Karlovci and Seminary, Branko Radičević and the wine harvest. We took a walk around the Petrovaradin fortress, heard a part of its rich history, walked around the Novi Sad downtown. And what’s most interesting - we returned in a larger number. You probably think that the charm of the eight grade students was a reason to return with one more member. You are right, it was love at first sight. Our Marko was enchanted with a beautiful puppy in Karlovci and the puppy liked his arms. It was questionable how we would return home because the puppy did not like the leash, but, no worries, it has been the Belgrade inhabitant since today. And we arrived in time, as it was planned.
