On Wednesday, Grade 6 students went on a trip which took them to the Underground Belgrade and Vinča. We started our trip at Kalemegdan where our guide gave us a short lecture about the history of the Kalemegdan park and the fortress, and then we visited the Roman Well, Barutana and the shelter from World War II. We had a lunch break in the old winery and continued with our trip to Vinča where we visited the museum and learnt much about the Vinča culture. We certainly had time for play and ice cream.
