Green Fest is an international festival dedicated to ecology and the protection of environment. This festival encourages people to care for their environment through films, educational lectures, exhibitions and many other activities. Students from our school participated in this festival by taking part in many workshops and having their own presentations.

A part of the theme Where we are in place and time students of Grade 5 prepared Healthy Snack. We all enjoyed healthy bites made of cereals that were grown on the fertile lands of our beautiful Serbia.

Our youngest students were introduced to the permanent exhibition of Ethnographic Museum. As a part of their inquiry, they had to research tradition and holidays, national costumes and patron saint’s day. They asked interesting and inquisitive questions and found out about them.

On Thursday November 14th in the afternoon school organized a sports recreational afternoon with many interesting activities for our students. For our youngest students, Grade 1 and Grade 2, we had sport games in the playground and a workshop ‘Scavenger hunt’. Students of Grade 4 and Grade 5 visited Museum of Pedagogy where they saw their permanent exhibition and attended the workshop ‘My Grandma’s School’.

Exploring the theme Where we are in space and time the students of Grade 4 and grade 5 visited the Planetarium. They enjoyed seeing and hearing many interesting facts about stars in our galaxy. They were also introduced to constellations they have never before heard of. Some of those constellations are: Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Draco, Cassiopeia and Cepheus.
