In the previous week our students participated in an interesting workshop and the topic was money and economics. Students learned some new economic terms that are used in everyday language and competed in Word Association game, matching old coins and ended with some great rewards. Our lecturer was Faculty of Economy professor Jelena Filipović.

Students of Grade 8 watched the opera "The elixir of love" in Madlenianum Theatre on Monday 30th November 2015. This piece was adapted for children. Our students had a chance to see the wonderful scenography, rustic costumes, which was an interesting way to introduce them to the roles, opera voices and the plot. Students enjoyed this opera and they are looking forward to their next visit.

Our students visited Red Cross today and made donations. Our hosts showed us a presentation about the work and activities that they do. Later we saw their exhibition. What we learned there is that it is very important to be humane and compassionate and always to be willing to help others.

On Friday we had a literary meeting with Hana Piščević, a former student of Primary School Rudjer Bosković, who was awarded the second prize for Young Literary Super Talent for her first novel Look at the Blue Plane. This meeting was preceded by the encounter at the Book Fair, when our students of Grade 8 and Grade 9 bought her book and enthusiastically read it before this meeting.
