On Thursday 24th December 2015 students of Grade 1 prepared a New Year Show for their parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. Everyone enjoyed their performance with reciting, singing, dancing. In the end they made New Year cards together with their parents and showed haw creative they can be.

Students of Grade 4 made a joint project to present the third theme of their IB PYP programme How we express ourselves – Theatre.
All present parents and teachers were reminded of the fable of ‘’The fox and the crow’’ through a game of shadows. The fable was presented in different ways, from different angles – as a detective story, news report, folk song, love song, epigram, elegy and in different languages.

Lower grades students went this week to Theatre Puž and Belgrade Drama Theatre to watch New Years’ shows. Students of Grade 3 and Grade 4 saw ‘’Three Chests of New Year’’, an exciting story of friendship and first loves. Our youngest students saw ‘’Snowman in Love’’ with legendary Branko Kockica as one of the main actors of the play.

Students of grades six and eight has a chance to visit the interactive exhibition ‘’Pupin’’ dedicated to one of our greatest scientists - Mihajlo Idvorski Pupin, which encompasses his life and work. This year, 2015, we celebrate a very important anniversary – hundred years since Pupin registered his seven patents that represent the birth of telecommunications and eighty years since his death. That is why UNESCO named this year the year of Mihajlo Pupin.
