Our student Maša Alvirović, showed great kindness and humanity when she donated 15 centimetres of her hair for charity event ’’A kilometer of hair’’ marking February 15th , the International Childhood Cancer Day. The aim is to collect one kilometre of hair for natural hair wigs for children who have lost their hair due to medical treatment. Maša has shown that those children are not alone.

This year we organized the first Rudjer skiing school from February 7th to February 14th 2016 at Kopaonik in hotel Brzeće. The purpose of our skiing school was to teach and train or students the basic principles of skiing. The group consisted of 20 students aged from 6 to 11 years old. All students successfully finished the programme. To make this experience more interesting we organized many workshops and other interesting activities.

Last week our school held mathematics competition. Our students showed remarkable knowledge and 22 of them won a place at the Municipal competition.

St Sava`s day is marked every year on January 27th and it is celebrated as school holiday. The occasion started with the school choir singing St Sava`s hymn, after which our Religion teacher held a short sermon and it ended with school play called ``One school day``. As tradition requires the school principal awarded our best students for achieving exceptional results. The rest of the day students spend watching a film about Nemanjić dynasty.
