On Tuesday, 29th March, the fourth grade students visited “Jevremovac” Botanical Garden. This visit was a part of inquiry unit “Sharing the planet”. The students had an opportunity to see rare plant species and to learn about ecosystems of jungles and deserts and to enjoy Japanese garden.

After collecting plenty of information and photos they returned to school in order to use this data for their further research.

Primary school first grade students visited the Police Station “Čukarica” on Thursday, 24th March. Our students attended a lecture giving basic information about the police and its role in safety protection. They also had an opportunity to see a part of the police equipment: an armour, a helmet and gas masks. What they particularly liked about this visit was Forensic centre where the students learned how fingerprints can help crime investigation.

For our students, February and March were mathematics months. First, municipal and city competitions were held and afterwards, instead of spears we crossed our knowledge in “Misliša” competition.

Presentations of tennis classes were held in our school for both lower and higher grades. Tennis school “Dril” in cooperation with the Serbian Tennis Association promotes this sport by giving presentations and age adjusted lessons. This school is endorsed by the most important tennis associations, tennis equipment manufacturers and tennis coaches association.

On the International Day of Happiness, our competitors were lucky, although their success already became a tradition. In Primary School “Ujedinjene nacije” a municipal competition in Serbian Language was held. We congratulate Katarina Kežić 6/2 and Savka Peco 8/2 on their excellent result of 65% and 75%. Mia Trifunović has won the first place.
