As s part of trans-disciplinary theme “Sharing the planet", PS2 students have been discovering life cycle of plants, the importance of plants for the planet and the significance of recycling.

On Thursday, 17th March, students from the higher grades went to “Dusko Radovic” theatre on a pre-premiere play “The Frauds”.

We had a wonderful time and laughed a lot. Students were full of impressions and they really liked the play as it made them laugh. We are looking forward to going to the theatre again.

On Saturday, 12 March, city competition in second foreign language was held. Two of our students participated, Sofija Filipi – the Italian language and Tara Colic – the French language.

Tara Čolić made a great success by winning the second place. Around one hundred students participated and only eight of them qualified for the next round of the competition. Tara will also represent our school in republic competition in the French language.

As a part of the research topic Heroes, we visited Milošev Konak in Topčider. Our students expanded their knowledge of the Second Serbian Uprising and had the opportunity to find out about life in Serbia and Europe during 19the century.

In Primary School “Josif Pancic” basketball municipality competition was held for the seventh and eighth graders. Despite the great game of the whole team, our team did not qualify for the finals. Minja Miljovic and Ema Jovanovic were the players who really exceled. Hopefully, next time our team will be luckier.
