This year we marked St Sava’s day, January 27th. The occasion started with St Sava’s Hymn and a short recital about the importance of St Sava.

We were presented with the southern customs, language, songs and dance by Mitke, Koštana and the sweet girls that danced Vranjanska Svita.

This was also the occasion for some students to be awarded for their good behaviour, excellent marks, and participation in the school projects.

Rudjer Boskovic Educational System is officially licenced ÖSD centre (Österreich Sprachdiplom). Since this school year our students can prepare for all level exams of German language as a foreign language. We decided to start this project because we wanted to offer our students a chance to acquire international certificates that can be very useful when entering a University in any German speaking country.

A group of students visited the Italian Cultural Institute yesterday, where Italian Bijouterie exhibition was organized in collaboration with Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte di Milano and Museo del Bijou di Casalmaggiore. Italian bijouterie is an important part of Italian culture that highlights Italian creativity and taste. This exhibition was organized by Bianca Cappello, art historian and a professor at the Istituto Europeo di design (IED) in Milan.
