On the initiative of the first grade students, in rhetoric class on 2nd of March 2016, a debate was organised on the topic “Should I stay or should I go”.  There were two teams, each consisting of three students.

One student had the role to introduce the topic, the second member presented the facts and the third member made a conclusion. The roles of leaders were given to Mina Jarić and Andrea Marković.

On 3rd March 2016, we saw one more film at FEST. We had great expectations from brother Coen’s film Hail, Caesar. The film stars a brilliant team - George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson.

The film failed to satisfy our expectations for it is not funny, it lasts too long and it lacks that unusual trait and originality that is so recognizable for Ethan and Joel Coen. Our expectations were even higher because this film opened Berlin International Film Festival.

This year, our school was a host of the municipal children’s caricatures competition “Little Pierre” organised by Friends of Cukarica Children Organisation.

Nine schools and ninety children from lower and higher grades participated. All the drawings were exhibited and twenty of them will take part in the city competition.

At 44th FEST film festival, on 1st March, 2016, we saw the film Queen of the Desert. The film stars a famous Nicole Kidman. She plays the role of Gertrude Bell, a woman who was an archaeologist, an explorer, a spy and a politician. The plot reveals her search for true love. She had two men in her life, but unfortunately they both died.

In rhetoric class on 24th March, we enjoyed an unusual event. We had the opportunity to listen to subtle, gentle verses of a poet Željane Andrić.
