On Saturday, 2nd April, education system “Ruđer Bošković was a host to students of Serbian high schools, members of the state championship in science research paper organised by Talents centre, Belgrade. Forty students from Sombor, Novi Sad, Leskovac, Vlasotince, Užice and Belgrade took part in the event. The students presented their research in the fields of Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Environmental studies and Life Science.

Students who attend design classes and students from grade IV2 (Visual Art) on Tuesday, 20th March, visited High School of Professional Studies –Art and Applied Art School in Belgrade.

They had the opportunity to see the presentation on study programs: interior design, painting and graphic design.

On Wednesday, 30th March, Serbian Paralympic Committee organized a reception in a representative room of the City Assembly of Belgrade and on the occasion they awarded their most accomplished and successful members and associates.

The highest tribute was paid to our best table tennis player Borislava Perić Panković, also known as Beba, who will be our flag bearer in the Olympic Games in Rio.

World Water Day, 22nd March, was acknowledged by a lecture and discussion on the topic “Climate Change in Serbia”. The lecture was given by a meteorologist Jasminka Smailagić, who is in charge of the climate monitoring department of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service. We learnt more about climate system, “butterfly effect” and El Nino.
