The third lecture, which is part of the project Forgotten Serbian Intellectuals, was held on Wednesday, January 16th 2016.
This time our third grade student, Danica Gaković talked about Mileva Marić Ajnštajn and her brother Miloš Marić Junior. On this class we learned many interesting things about the life and work of famous scientist and researcher Mileva Marić, who was the wife of the legendary physicist Albert Einstein. She helped her husband with research and his work on the well-known Theory of Relativity. After the divorce from the famous physicist, her significance was wrongfully diminished.
Her brother Miloš was a doctor, researcher and a University professor. His work was more valued in Russia than in his homeland –Serbia. He taught Histology at the University of Saratov, and he was also one of the doctors who participated in the process of embalming the body of Lenin.
