On 28th November, 2016, students of Year 1 took part in the qualifications for the final debate which will take place next week. The topic was the independent choice of the partner. Yes or No? The good occasion for the topic is the work Romeo and Juliet. The following won and entered the finals: Luna, Ivona, Anastasija from Ia, Ema, Tara and Una from Ib.

Students of Year 4 of IB DP program who attend classes of economics and business management visited the company MikroElektronika from Belgrade. “MikroElektronika" deals with the manufacture of software and hardware tools for microcontrollers.

Accompanied by the chief engineer, we went on the tour of the main production hall, components warehouse and finished products.

As all the other high school students, we counted days from the beginning of the week until the weekend when we could hang around with our friends in the displaced extracurricular activities. On Saturday night, 26th November, 2016 we spent the night at the Zvezdara theatre. We watched the play Mr Nušić’s birthday, which was organized as the celebration of 60th birthday of one of our most significant writers.

On 28/11/2016 our IV grade students took part in unwinding an extraordinary bond orchestrated by our chemistry teacher Vesna Novović and Serbian teacher Katarina Urošević. Danica Gakovic, in her wonderful speech, introduced us to the alchemists and possibly managed to change our minds about them. Anđela Jovičić conducted an experiment and tried to make a wisdom stone.

Foreign language teachers and Serbian language teachers joined together on 21/11/2016 to discuss the same topic. Do we know our relatives, are we close,… Serbian language is definitely the language with the largest number of words for naming family relations but French is the most intriguing. Our conclusion was that the Russians, Italians, Germans, Spanish, English, French all nurture their family ties.
