It was a beautiful spring day, and we had a walk through the town. Dour teachers Jelena, Katarina, and Aleksandar deciden on where to put our check points< the first one was St Sava temple, and Mina Jaric, our second grade student, had an interesting presentation about St Sava. Next stop was Nikola Tesla Museum, and enjoyed it. Then, we went to Ivo Andric square, and we talked about our famous Nobel Prize winner.
Our last stop was Kalemegdan.
OpširnijeThe day was beautiful. Our school team(32 students) went to Kalemegdan, 6 teams, 6 tasks.We found orienteering spots verz easy, learnt something about Kalemegdan, and took lots of beautiful photos.

OpširnijeMYP students,grade 9, participated in a thematic class, Epic heroes. The class started with the story of Achilles, the greatest hero of the ancient Greece. We compared him to Marko Kraljevic and Milos Obilic. The lecture continued with the story behind the phrase Deus ex machina, finding the solution to Gods interference, Homer and serbian epic poetry.
OpširnijeOn 18 April we visited Russian House with our Russian language teacher Lana.There was an exibition of the Romanov family, and we had the opportunity to hear a lecture about the famous royal family. Then we took a walk through the building, saw the portrait of Nikolaj II, and learnt a lot about Russian history. The visit was very educational and entertaining as well.
OpširnijeExciting story of good taste At the gallery of TheMuseum of Natural History in Kalemegdan. The author of exibition, Aleksandra Savic, told us interesting story about coffee, its origins, types, social importance.
We saw different coffee accessories from around the world, and heard stories about different coffee drinking rituals.
