Grade 3 and 4 students went to Brzeće, Kopaonik from 23-29 May, 2016, within the traditional Classes in nature.

Apart from the sports and entertainment programme, the children had an opportunity to meet the beauty of the mountain, people’s way of life in Brzeće and the surroundings, see the Toplica river spring, to learn how a mill works and hear the interesting bits from history. Play, socializing, contests and fun made the time spent there a memorable experience.

Students of PS2, Grade 1, I1, Grade 2, II1 and Grade 3 went on a field trip to Zlatibor from 23-29 May 2016.

They had an opportunity to get to know each other better, play and study surrounded by nature and learn many interesting things about our country and its history.

By visiting Drvengrad on Mećavnik, Šargan Eight, Bele vode and Sirogojno, the students could see the beauty of Zlatibor and learn new things about people’s lives now and long ago.

Primary school “Ruđer Bošković” team took part in the manifestation “Mathematics Bridge” held in Vrnjačka Banja, on 12th May, 2016. Being the first placed school from Belgrade, we played against students from Novi Sad, Niš and Valjevo. Our team, consisting of Boris Simikić, Mario Jovanović, Đorđe Veličković and Tara Čolić fought bravely and showed quite a knowledge in mathematics. All the participants showed considerable knowledge of Maths.

We are very proud to announce this news as we are very proud of our students. Ana Babić 7/1 won the second place at the state competition in Serbian language and literature held on 28th May, 2016, in Vuk’s Tršić. Months, and even years of hard work were made worthwhile, as Ana has had excellent results at the competition since Grade 5.

We are proud of our smart, talented girl who is really among the best.

So close and so far away. This short sentence best describes the trip by Grade 5 and 7 students who visited Vinča and Kalemegdan.

By going to the locations only 10 kilometres away, we went to the distant past, prehistory, and the earliest period of history – ancient times.

In Vinča we learnt everything about the life of man in the young stone age and concluded that our distant predecessors cannot be considered and called primitive.
