On Wednesday, 25th May, Grade 8 students went on a school trip to Sremski Karlovci and Petrovaradin. We visited the Fortress of Petrovaradin, saw a well-known, unusual clock and listened to the guide’s lecture.
In Sremski Karlovci we visited the church dedicated to Saint Nikola, saw the first Serbian Gymnasium school and naturally mentioned Branko Radičević.

Grade 6 students visited the exhibition dedicated to Mihailo Pupin at the Historical Museum of Serbia in the first term.
During the school trip on 25th May, 2016 we visited the home town of this great scientist - Idvor. We visited his house and the Town Hall bearing Pupin’s name.

We are proud to announce that the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Paralympic committee of Serbia gave the approval to the International Educational System “Ruđer Bošković” to create and design a stamp for the Paralympic games in Rio, which will be held from 07- 18 September 2016. 680.000 items have been sold so far. The author of the drawing on the stamp is our talented Grade 6 student Pavle Drajer, and the mentor is the art teacher Eva Gravara.

Diploma award ceremony for our dear competitors in Serbian, French and Italian was organized on 24th May, 2016. The school principal congratulated students on their success and emphasized how proud we were with their work and results. Serbian teachers emphasized that this event was organized on the Day of Slavonic alphabet, thus highlighting the importance of the work and mission of Cyril and Methodius.

We are thrilled with the quality of the programme and organization by the school, which must surely be the best we have had! A big thank you to our host Jelena, who is our new friend, a trustworthy person and "just perfect". All in all, Serbia and its citizens have been a wonderful first experience!
