Joining English and Serbian languages was created spontaneously several years ago with the joint theme - Shakespeare for beginners. The class on Monday, 18 December 2017 was refreshed by new segments  – what it was like to be an actor in Shakespeare’s time, we heard the English, Serbian and informal version of the dialogue between Romeo and Juliet. At the end, we had a quiz created by our students several years ago. The class was created for a long time.

We visited the Festival of Science on Thursday. A large group of students of the second, third and fourth year enjoyed the exhibitions in three halls. We were greeted by stalagmites and stalactites, DNA analysis from old samples. Models of human body parts with the possibility to watch under the microscope, video films, as well as the body movement examination – attracted many students. There was a great interest in the section with phobias, named “Facing the fear”.

Darko Tuševljaković was our guest on 7 December 2017. We spent a wonderful literary afternoon with the winner of the European Union Prize for Literature for the novel The Chasm. The host was our librarian Mrs Milena Pavlović. Students were attentive, curious and inspired to ask questions. We were interested when he started writing, if a book was a milestone in his work, how he felt when he got the award.

At our joint interdisciplinary class we practiced description. We described our classmates in the foreign language on our left, and the classmates on our right – in English. A part of the class was named “Guess, who it is!” We drew notes which had descriptions of all those present, which we had written in the Serbian class. That part of the class was the most interesting one, because there were very amusing descriptions and comments.

Students of the Ruđer Bošković Gymnasium also participated in Green Fest this year. Group4Project, which is the obligation of all graduates, was presented this year with a joint topic "Green Consciousness".
Divided into 5 different groups, we discussed the issue of excessive use of plastic glasses, the problem of traveling, the throwing of food, the transition to the light bulbs, and ecologically looked at the use of towels.
