Students' Parliament - humanitarian activities

To ensure a multilayered development of young, active, responsible and self- aware citizens, prepared to influence the course of life in their communities, the Students' Parliament has been set up in the "Ruđer Bošković" High School. In addition to the daily activities related to the life and work of students in the educational system, the parliamentarians have played an important role in implementing a number of humanitarian activities.

2014

- 28.02. "Donate a Book - Bring Happiness to a Village" - we visited a detached unit of the "Ugrin Branković" elementary school in the village Neresnica in eastern Serbia;

2013

- March "The Cinema Works Again" humanitarian film review (proceeds donated for children in need of organ transplants);
- October "You Have a Say " charity cake sale; the funds collected have been transferred in favour of the bank account of our fellow citizen, Nemanja Mladenović, needing urgent bone marrow surgery;
- October "Donate a Book - Bring Happiness to a Village" campaign to collect books to help the survival of rural libraries in Serbia;
- 15.10. "Donate a Book - Bring Happiness to a Village" visits to the "Dositej Obradović" elementary school in the village of Margita in the municipality of Plandište, and the "Slobodan Bajic Baja" elementary school in the village of Donji Tovarnik to deliver donated books. The campaign continues;
- 11.12. Royal Palace - The visit was part of humanitarian and educational activities of the Princess Catherine Foundation for children without parental care. A large number of our students with their parents responded to the call and collected gifts for children without parental care at the New Year's reception at the Royal Palace;

- Cooperation with the "Čukarica" day care centre for people with disabilities (regular visits, organized visits to museums, galleries...);
