Today, at the Serbian language and literature class (May 3rd, 2018), the first grade students performed a surrealistic experiment. They used works of Serbian surrealists as models for their own writings and drawings (and this artistic movement delighted them when they visited the Museum of Contemporary Art).

Our gang of theater lovers found the ideal place and time to spend Wednesday 25 April. The place was the Yugoslav Drama Theater, and the play that we watched was A Lucrative Place, directed by Egon Savin. The play left a strong impression on us. The actors' performance was above all expectations. One of our favorite actresses, Jelisaveta Sablić, was acting. Particularly brilliant was the performance of the young actor Nikola Rakocevic.

We were delighted to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art on Friday, 27 April. The group of students who visited the Museum was very colorful; beside art lovers, there were members of orienteering and sports clubs. The most interesting thing was to see how art overwhelmed the students and drew them into its labyrinth of dreams. With great curiosity we sailed through epochs, different artistic movements and styles. We noticed that many writers were also great painters.

Our students took part in the Municipal competition. Among all the students who came from five different schools located at Cukarica municipality, our students stood out and achieved remarkable results at the competition held at the open courts of the Kosutnjak Sports Institute.

In the sprint, discipline at 100m, the third place in the municipality was taken by our student Pavle Bajic.

Our students and their teachers dedicated a wonderful evening of the 31st of March to culture. We watched the theatre play Kumovi (The Best Men) in ​​Zvezdara Theater. The show was directed by Dušan Kovačević, and the actors were experienced and excellent. The show was very dynamic and fun with a lot of laughter. The story is set in a family house. There is a married couple and their best men and maids of honor.
