IV grade pupils visited the Ethnographic Museum. During the first part of their visit pupils visited the permanent exhibition of the museum and learnt about the traditional and very important things/objects our ancestors used, which are no longer in use, or are very rarely used. The other part of the visit included educational, interactive workshops organized by the museum curator. The workshop topic was “Village house, town house in19th century”. By taking part in the workshop pupils had the opportunity to find out how people in villages used to live, what their hoses looked like, what the furniture and rooms of houses were like in 19th century contrasted to houses in towns in the same period. At the end of the workshop pupils had a task to go round the museum and select all the things that could be found in a village house and in a town house.
