Mission

The main aim of the teaching and learning process in Ruđer Bošković Primary School is to enable acquisition and development of functional and transferable knowledge and skills.

This is carried out through a flexible approach to choosing and combining various teaching methods. Teaching and learning are regarded as active, interdisciplinary, processes of acquiring concepts and developing attitudes and skills.

The teaching and learning process takes into consideration developmental characteristics of the students. It fosters learner independence, adopting various, age-appropriate learning strategies and developing a positive attitude to learning as a continuing, life-long process. International-mindedness is cultivated through the promotion of empathy, tolerance, a positive attitude towards all cultures and the awareness of the interconnectedness of the local community and the world.
