The "Ruđer Bošković" primary school was the first private primary school established in the Republic of Serbia. It became active in 2005 and is accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia; Permit No. 022-05-41/2005-03 dated 20.04.2005. and 610-00-0134/2007-07 issued on 26.03.2007.

Together with the "Ruđer Bošković" secondary school, founded in 2003, it represents a single educational system.

The "Ruđer Bošković" primary school implements the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the International Cambridge Programmes for pupils of primary school age approved by the Cambridge International Examinations: Cambridge Primary & Lower Secondary Programmes.

The use of modern teaching methods, the analysis of all forms of activities with the pupils and the realization of numerous extra-curricular activities provide a high quality general education. Each class has 10 to 20 pupils.

Primary schooling lasts eight years. After completing primary school, pupils are eligible to enrol in all high schools and vocational secondary schools in the country. The calendar of educational activities is prescribed by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. The school day is based on the whole-day principle.

In addition to regular classes, pupils can participate in extracurricular activities covering the following areas:

sports, arts (design, choir, performing arts), foreign languages, linguistics, journalism, mathematics, physics, chemistry, history, environmental science...

Throughout the year, visits to cultural and scientific institutions, as well as guest appearances by prominent artists and scholars are organized.
