Born on January 22nd 1957 in Belgrade, where he finished primary school, the XII Belgrade High School and the Belgrade University, Faculty of Sciences - Department of Geography. He completed his postgraduate studies at the B.U. Center for Multidisciplinary Studies - Department of Environmental Protection. During his studies he achieved excellent results and was thus eligible for accelerated studies (graduating at the age of 22) and for postgraduate studies scholarships.
He is married, has two adult children (graduates), and lives and works in Belgrade.
Throughout his career (some 30 years) he has worked in the education sector (university, secondary and primary schools). As a professor he has achieved outstanding results with his students and received numerous awards (from the Science and Tech Board, and many other social organizations at the time).
Early in his career, at the age of 33, he became principal of the "Nikola Tesla" primary school in Belgrade and chaired the school principals' professional working groups. The fundamental orientation remained enhancing education quality. Under government commission he coordinated the establishment of various schools.
He is the founder of a number of private schools in Serbia and in the region. With the exception of the system comprising the "Ruđer Bošković" primary and high school, he has ceded all other projects (market wise) to different founders.
Throughout his career he has pursued the highest standards in preparatory education and the introduction of the most demanding International - accredited programs into our educational system.
