On Tuesday, 25th November, Mr. Gradimir Stojkovic, a notable Serbian children’s writer visited our school. Our VI grade pupils who had already read some of his books took part. By a spontaneous, humorous and honest approach Gradimir Stojkovic once again dazzled the children. When asked by the pupils about the circumstances that had led to the creation of the popular, award-winning novel “Hajduk in Belgrade”, we were given an unexpected answer that reveals the essence of the writer’s work: “I haven’t done anything new; I have just returned the book back to the children.”
And we thank him for that.
