It is our pleasure to announce that the International Educational System “Ruđer Bošković” is officially the school candidate for the IB Middle Years Programme since 6^th June, 2016. The international organization International Baccalaureate (IB) accepted our application and this marks the beginning of the three-year process of authorisation, during which the school will meet all the requirements set by IB.

MYP is the programme which inspires students to make practical connections between the things they learn at school and the world they live in. This programme may last from 2 to 6 years, and students who finish it successfully are very well prepared for the continuation of education on the IB Diploma programme.

In school year 2016/2017, the students of grades 5 and 6 of primary school will start the programme, as well as the first year of high school, as part of the International Educational System “Ruđer Bošković”.  In the following years, the programme will be extended to grades 7 and 8 of the primary school, as well as the year 2 of high school.

The programme content is divided into eight subject groups in order to provide students with wide and balanced education.

Ruđer Bošković School is a candidate school* for the Middle Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy — a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Ruđer Bošković School believes is important for our students.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP),or the Diploma Programme (and in addition the IB Career-related Certificate).
