The International Day of Older Persons
A group of our 7th and 8th grade students visited an event marking the International Day of Older Persons in Children’s Cultural Centre Belgrade.
The students were greeted by Ms Brankica Janković, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Mr Mladen Šarčević, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development and Mr Michael Davenport, the Head of the EU Mission to Serbia.
The students had the opportunity to read various essays on discrimination and equality that promote solidarity among different generations. At the end of the day they saw the play “Excuse me, how old are you?”
