We went to Roda Cineplex on 13/10/2016 and saw our new film, “Train Driver’s Diary”. The Serbian candidate for the Oscar award was presented  in Cannes and Moscow. The film stars Lazar Ristovski as Ilija, a man who holds an infamous record. He has actually run over 28 people. He and an abandoned boy Sima whom he adopts become partners, friends, father and son.  Ilija teaches him how to become a good train driver although he strongly opposed at the beginning. Sima, played by Petar Korac becomes a young adult who matures on his bumpy road.
