High school students marked the anniversary of Shakespeare’s death Serbian language and literature class on 25th April. They were prepared for the quiz which checked the knowledge about his life and work.

Marija Ignjatić was excellent in her role of Juliette and Mina Jarić surprised everyone with her acting transformation. She played Romeo. If in Shakespeare’s time all actors were men, in our case the girls did most of the job.

At the end, we were all amazed by the quality of information heard from Todor Pušica. Our teacher Milena told us the myth about Pyramus and Thisbe which served as an inspiration for Romeo and Juliette.

Teacher Mišić and teacher Katarina were in charge of the scenography.
