Within the project See the Face Behind the Label, which our school is implementing together with the International high school “Zlatarski” from Sofia, and within the ACES (Academy of Central European Schools) network, we organized the photo exhibition at the House of human rights and democracy, the place where many young people visit and whose deeds are right in the spirit of the main project idea.

40 authentic photographs were displayed which testify about the refugees’ destinies, and which were recorded in the Home for the elderly and a refugee centre in Sofia, the Collective centre “Krnjača” (Belgrade) and the Centre for the persons seeking asylum (Tutin). A part of the exhibition, namely 10 photographs are the recorded messages by refugees from the walls of the above mentioned institutions, which will  be the permanent record of these times, refugee aspirations and needs. Apart from the photographs, 5 posters have been displayed, messages inspired by striking photographs testifying about the refugee crisis as a global phenomenon.
